Please let me know if you are planing to attend to leave tickets for you.2014 It’s been an exciting year!  I had a solo show in San Francisco and three Museum exhibitions, the most recent one that just open two weeks ago is the Museum of Art & Design in Manhattan, New York.I would love to show you my latest series, let me know if you are interested and we can make some arrangements.I’m attaching an invitation that shows two of the Encoded Textiles that will be in the show in Miami.  I hope I will be able to se you at the Miami Fair or in the near future.Guillermo Bert

ABOUT ART MIAMI – CONTEXTKnown as Miami’s premier anchor fair, Art Miami kicks off the opening day of Art Week — World-famous for its stylish gallery-like decor, its outstanding quality and extraordinary variety, Art Miami showcases the best in modern and contemporary art from 125 international art galleries.CONTEXT is the sister fair to Art Miami. CONTEXT is committed to the development and reinforcement of emerging and mid-career artists. The fair’s open atmosphere creates a meaningful dialogue between artists, galleries and collectors while providing the ultimate platform for established and emerging galleries to present cutting-edge and emergent talent. Now in its third year, the fair will take place in a standalone 45,000-square-foot pavilion directly adjacent to the Art Miami Pavilion joined by an outdoor café, lounge and curated outdoor art exhibition.The combined exhibition space will increase the overall roster of galleries to 200 participants and cover 250,000 square feet. Convenient parking is available for both fairs through the use of a four-story parking garage with 2,000 spots, located directly across the street from the Art Miami and CONTEXT Pavilions as well an additional garage a few blocks away. About the Author

Guillermo Bert was born in Santiago, Chile in 1959. He holds an advanced Bachelor degree in Fine Arts from the Catholic University of Santiago. Guillermo’s work has been exhibited at and collected by numerous museums in the U.S. and South America. He has won multiple prizes, government grants and commissions as well as created a number of public art projects such as permanent murals and installations. His paintings and drawings have been featured on TV programs and movies nationally andinternationally as well as reviewed in major newspapers in the U.S., Japan and Chile. He has worked as Art Director for the Los Angeles Times. Guillermo Bert (Santiago, Chile, 1959). Realizó estudios avanzados de licenciatura en artes de la Universidad Católica de Santiago. Sus trabajos artísticos han sido exhibidos y recopilados por numerosos museos de Estados Unidos y Sudamérica. Asimismo, ha obtenido diversos premios, subvenciones de gobiernos y encargos de trabajos artísticos, y realizado varios proyectos, tales como murales permanentes e instalaciones de arte. Pinturas y dibujos suyos han aparecido en programas de televisión y películas de Chile y del extranjero. Su obra ha sido estudiada por diferentes publicaciones especializadas de Estados Unidos, Japón y Chile. Bert ha trabajado como director artístico de Los Angeles Times.
